AO ArtBall 2023 is a collection of 9,230 NFTs with each ArtBall linked to a plot on the court. If the winning shot from any of the ~400 AO matches lands on that plot, the ArtBall is updated with that information, and the owner of that NFT plot receives special perks or rewards, like tickets to exclusive events.

Bluzelle

Bluezelle is a blockchain infrastructure provider focused on secure and efficient storage and retrieval of data. An example of a Bluzelle application includes: three banks in Asia - OCBC Bank, HSBC Singapore, and the Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) - collaborated with the Info-communications Media Development Authority (IDMA) - a Singaporean regulator of media and information communications - to streamline and improve the banking KYC process by creating a shared ledger for verifying customer identities.

DraftKings

DraftKings, an American sports betting company, has launched three main initiatives using the blockchain. 1. “DraftKings Marketplace” is a digital collectibles marketplace where users can buy, sell, and access exclusive NFTs from sports, entertainment, and culture using their existing DraftKings account. Many iconic athletes — including Tom Brady, Wayne Gretzky, Naomi Osaka, Simone Biles and Derek Jeter — have already launched their own NFT collections on this Marketplace. 2. “DraftKings Reignmakers” offers gamified athlete cards (as NFTs) licensed by the NFLPA, PGA TOUR, and UFC, which can be used in various fantasy contests based on athletes' real-life performances. As of August 9th, 2023, this NFT collection has reached $4.5M daily trading volume. 3. DraftKings also partnered with Zero Hash, a B2B digital assets infrastructure provider, to stake digital assets and become a Polygon network validator.

Elemint

Platinium Group (the largest ticket operator for Formula One Grand Prix events) partnered with Elemint (an NFT marketplace) and Bary (a web3 firm) to issue NFT tickets to VIP attendees of the Monaco Formula One Grand Prix.

Flybondi

An Argentinian low-cost airline, Flybondi, expanded its partnership with a web 3 company, TravelX, to offer all tickets as NFTs. Flybondi explained that the NFT tickets offer a more flexible travel experience for passengers and reduce administrative costs for the airline.

Helium

Helium is a community-owned wireless network, powered by over 1 million individual hotspots in 200+ countries. The ecosystem built on top of the Helium network leverages these hotspots for a number of purposes from Helium's Long Range Wireless capabilities to monitor for forest fires to using Helium 5G hotspots to provide internet coverage in rural Montana communities.

Lido is a protocol that enables users to stake tokens as part of validation activity of the blockchain, mint transferable utility tokens, and use those utility tokens in other on-chain activities.

Nightfall

Nightfall is an Optimistic Zero-Knowledge (ZK) Roll-Up that helps enable private transactions on the public Ethereum blockchain. EY collaborated with Polygon on developing the Nightfall protocol.

Nodle

Nodle allows smartphones to become edge nodes. Nodle has recently joined the Content Authenticity Initiative (CAI) - a movement of technologists and large companies like Adobe, Microsoft, The New York Times Co., Truepic, Qualcomm, Witness, CBC, BBC, and others that aims to address digital misinformation and content authenticity - to incorporate the CAI photo verification standards for NFTs.

Polygon ID

Polygon ID, with the help of zero-knowledge proofs, lets users prove their identity without the need of exposing their private information. Polygon ID enables organizations on one side to issue verifiable credentials about users, and organizations on the other side to verify those claims.

Telefonica Tech - Spanish telecom’s digital transformation arm - announced it will provide companies with a quick and easy way to integrate blockchain technology in their businesses.

Ticketmaster

Ticketmaster launched gated sales, so artists can reward fans who hold specific NFTs with priority ticket access and other concert experience perks. The NFL has also launched Virtual Commemorative Tickets to test NFT collectibles among its fan base.

Vayner3

Vayner3 is a web3 consultancy. Bud Light partnered with Vayner3 to release an NFT collection for the NFL season: Bud Light x NFL Ultimate Fandom - Survivor Pick ‘Em 2022. NFT holders will be able to access a tournament online to win a variety of prizes.

Xage

Xage is world’s first blockchain-enabled cybersecurity platform for IoT companies. It has partnerships with companies like Microsoft, Dell and the U.S. Air Force.

Zilliqa

Zilliqa is a blockchain service provider. Mindshare (a global media and marketing services company) partnered with Zilliqa to address issues in programmatic advertising - reducing intermediaries and increasing transparency to avoid ad fraud - to make it more cost-effective. The pilot with PepsiCo showed a 28% efficiency gains.
