Nubank - one of the largest digital financial services platforms in the world - launched Nucoin, a token used for their loyalty and rewards program. Nubank has 75 million customers across Brazil and Columbia. For the initial pilot, Nubank will roll out notifications to sign up for a wallet to 15% of their customers with the aim of gradually expanding this program to the rest of its clientele.

Atlas Cafe

Atlas Cafe coffeehouse in San Francisco used NFTs as a way to boost customer engagement and increase visits to the coffee shop. It partnered with Celo and ran a small pilot that produced increased visits, overall revenue, and brand awareness as well as created global reach.

Blackbird

Blackbird is a loyalty program for restaurants that aims to boost customer engagement through rewards and give restaurant owners a way to collect data. It already launched a rewards program for a Williamsburg diner called GERTIE and the Upside Nolita “Pizza Club” initiative.

Project Spark

Starbucks launched an employee rewards program called Project Spark to incentivize learning by awarding digital badges - NFTs - that are sharable and unlock exclusive benefits for the holders.

Starbucks Odyssey

Starbucks launched Starbucks Odyssey, an extension of its widely successful rewards program called. Odyssey offers new types of rewards and ways to engage customers through NFTs (like artwork, access to tickets to special events like coffee tastings, among other things). In addition, Starbucks Odyssey also partnered with Feeding America, and the Starbucks community was able to provide 125,000 meals to those facing hunger.

UNXD

UNXD is a curated marketplace for digital luxury goods. It has partnerships with Dolce&Gabbana (D&G) and Valentino. D&G debuted a 9-piece NFT collection - Collezione Genesi - which was first luxury NFT collection that involved both digital and physical works. D&G has now launched an NFT community - #DGFamily - that gives the NFT holders exclusive rights to drops, collaborations, goods (physical and digital), and events. Valentino launched a similar NFT campaign to promote customers engaging with the brand and its designs.

UpTrip

Lufthansa Group (one of Europe’s largest airlines) launched a loyalty and rewards program called UpTrip for passengers to engage with the Lufthansa brand, unlock rewards, and trade with others.
