Octagon is an NFT marketplace. One of its applications was by the National University of Mongolia (”NUM”) that initiated "Meta University," in collaboration with Octagon Marketplace & Guyuk Metaverse, as part of its 80th anniversary. Six types of of NUM NFTs were delivered to graduates, students, teachers, and staff, allowing NFT owners to access the virtual NUM headquarters in the metaverse and receive their diploma as a “Soulbound Token.”
