Seal Storage Technology is a decentralized cloud storage provider that has been used by a number of institutions as a way to store and transfer data. The University of Utah’s Scientific Computing and Imaging Institute (SCI) used Seal to make over 200 terabytes (TB) of OpenViSUS IDX NASA atmospheric wind velocity and ocean current datasets available to the public. UC Berkeley Underground Physics Group used Seal’s decentralized cloud storage for neutrino physics research data to support the development of novel detection technology. The ATLAS Experiment at CERN used Seal's decentralized cloud storage for data generated by the High-Lumonsity Large Hadron Collider (HL-LHC).
