Oxfam (a charity organization focused on alleviating global poverty) launched the UnBlocked Cash Project to help deliver aid with the use of e-voucher “tap-and-pay” cards linked to the blockchain. The first pilot — through a partnership with Sempo and ConsenSys — launched successfully in Vanuatu after Tropical Cyclone Harold.
